Card validator with the ability to print travel documents.
The new series of Vega validators replaces the durable and successful PT02 series of card and combined validators. Unlike the previous generation, it offers better ergonomics, a greater variety of hardware options, and a wider range of functionality. The focus is on providing comfortable, fast, and secure service in any fare system.
- The CVP validator is a card validator from the Vega series, which, in addition to validation, also allows for the printing of travel documents, tickets, and payment or verification confirmations. If needed, functionality can be expanded to include barcodes, QR codes, and more.
- The validator can be equipped with various types of touchscreens of different sizes, offering precise control and excellent readability. The display can also be combined with a powerful keyboard if desired.
- Issuance is facilitated by composting via light indicators, visual signalling, and an audio output that can play all common audio formats, such as WAV and MP3.
- Thanks to the integrated module for contactless data transmission, the device can operate completely autonomously.
- The innovative holder concept ensures not only fast and secure fixation but also compact device sizes thanks to efficient space utilisation.
- The validator works with different standards of contactless cards, supports NFC, and also contactless EMV bank cards (PayPass, PayWave).
- The fast thermal printer ensures high-quality full graphic printing of travel documents.
- Special attention was paid to vandal resistance during development. The result is a durable design with protective elements, a resistant front screen panel, a sensor to prevent paper jamming, and an indirect process for the ticket issuance hole. Furthermore, the smooth design prevents dirt accumulation and simplifies cleaning.
- High-performance electronics and numerous SAM slots allow the validator to be used in large, complex transportation systems, providing sufficient reserves for further development.
